Founded in 1993, GALERIE BHAK (Seoul) has been leading the contemporary art scene in Korea. With over 25 years of experience exhibiting prominent contemporary artists, it has been continuously introducing cutting-edge perspectives to the global stage.

Playing a vital role in developing international dialogue on Korean art scene, it has organized exhibitions of Fernando Botero, François Morellet, Tom Wesselmann, John Baldessari, Eric Orr, Carole A. Feuerman and Salustiano for local audiences. It has also participated in renowned international art fairs such as Art Miami, Art Chicago, Art Cologne, FIAC, Art Brussels, CIGE, Art Taipei, Art Central in Hong Kong and KIAF ART SEOUL.

In contribution to the worldwide promotion and the rise of the art market, the Gallery has introduced established Korean artists including Nam June PAIK, KIM Tschang-Yeul, PARK Seo-bo and LEE Ufan. It also has been representing the most promising ones with potentials like HAN Young-Wook, KIM Chang-Young and KIM Mi-Kyung after organizing projects for emerging artists: “Korean Contemporary Art Festival(2001~2012)” and “Young Artists Contest (1996~2002)”.

GALERIE BHAK continues to endeavor to be the crucial space in embracing the heart of Korean and international contemporary arts.
